not sure if this belongs in health section but here goes! Have just bought Davina's exercise DVD and love it but need some variety. Can anyone recommend good workout DVDs that have worked for them? Also has anyone ever used/bought one of those mini trampolines and if so were they any use or are they shoved in the back of a cupboard?

My trampoline got shoved in my moms shed but it was good while it lasted!!
I'm trying Barbara Curries power packed yoga at the moment. Only started this week but it seems really good. Hope it works

Nell McAndrews dvd fab but not for the feint hearted!

Don' bother with the trampoline, worst thing ever for your pelvic floor muscles.

Hello.I am looking for a good dance/exercise dvd. Something that will make me SWEAT it out at home. I have not tried the trampoline. I might give it a try.

Gwenick · 14/06/2005 21:40

I've got the Coronation Fit Funk DVD, really good, certainly makes me sweat buckets and fun too

Am a complete saddo, I have the Mr Motivators BLT Workout. Very cheesy and makes me cringe but exercise wise is quite good!

Have got a trampoline but got bored of it, looking at getting cardio-bounce, a video of stuff to do on the trampolines. (yes you can do more than bounce)

Bump

preferably something including hand weights ( it is the law to wear vest tops during summer Downunder and I need to shape up my arms)

TIA

Anyone done the Tae Bo ones?
There are sommme going cheap on ebay and I wonder if they are any good?

Spagblog · 11/02/2006 11:59

The Nell McAndrews ones is £4.99 in Aldi at the moment

Suzy, have you thought about a flexi-bar for your arms? I use one to try and sort out my chronic frozen shoulder and it seems to be doing me good in other areas too.

Harrogatemum, my favourite exercise video of all time is the YMCA fat burner, but it's hard to get now I think. You might have some luck on eBay.

suzywong · 11/02/2006 13:55

thanks, I love the look of the flexi-bar, but neither it nor the Nell McAndrews dvd are available in Australia.

never mind

My mate swears by Charlie Brooks ( Janine from eastenders ) ... apparently it reduces the middle aged spread ...

mate looks great !

bran · 11/02/2006 15:20

That website will deliver to Oz SW, costs a whopping £40 though.

bran · 11/02/2006 15:27

There are also a couple of flexi-bars on eBay (one in the UK and one in Germany ) who will ship worldwide.

A friend of mine is moving to Perth from Wellington in 2007, I wonder if she knows about this law, I can't remember seeing her upper arms ever, but I suspect she has bingo wings that would almost rival mine.

suzywong · 11/02/2006 15:39

thanks for all the tips
