I had posterior repair surgery 3 weeks ago. The doctor told me my stitches would dissolve on their own but 3 weeks on theres no sign of them shifting. They are also blue and feel like nylon. Getting concerned now as they are very sore and itchy, and some of them look like they are cutting into my flesh. Does anyone know if these blue nylon ones do dissolve? Or should i ask my GP to take them out?
