feel nervous all of a sudden. Have a cystocele and rectocele prolapse that I want sugery for, really want it sorted and have to go to first hosp appointment today to discuss it.

Has anyone had this surgery what do I need to ask, how did you find it?

Hate being examined too - better get used to it hadn't I.

There are a couple of ongoing threads about this type of surgery here and here

I've just been told I need surgery for a prolapse following a radical hysterectomy 4 years ago. It's not something I'll be looking forward to but I've put up with the problems for at least 3 years so I'll look forward to getting it sorted.

The examinations are never nice but I tend to find the thought of them worse than the reality.

I hope your appointment goes ok today

Thanks will have a look at those links.

Sorry to hear you need the surgery too, like you say though better than continuing to put up with it for more years to come!
