Why have my periods gone random?

I have always been a 28 day cycle girl - even after bf dd they fell back into rountine pretty much straightaway.

This month I bleed a little when I should have been having my period but lasted less than 24hrs. Today I should have begun ovulating instead I have started bleeding.

No chance of being pregnant so what could have caused it?

Who knows ? i had years of 28 day regularity then after dd1 or maybe ds 1 I went to 40 days..... still managed dd2 with no probs and now back to 28 days ! I suppose i'm saying I wouldn't worry particularly unless your periods stop altogether or get very heavy or you have bleeding at odd times (say every 12 days ) or pain etc when having sex ..

Periods are stupid I've decided. 15 days between mine this month. Very odd for me so will see what happens next month (fortnight?)

Perhaps its the summer holidays throwing it out rather. I'm blaming mine on too much cheese and baguette!
