OK - this is a bit of a long story - so apologies before I start. Hope that perhaps spomeone has the patnience to read it and tell me what they think.

Dh and I have started trying for numbero 2 recently. Last week I felt awful (sick, sore breastst etc) and then on Saturday this week I started bleeding. Enough to make a mess of my clothes, so I assumed my period had started a week early (is due in reality next Sat). However, it then totally stopped and i had nothing at all yesterday. Today I am spotting, and it's fresh blood (not brown) SOrry TMI I know. Prior to Dhand I actually doing the deed, I had also had a few days of OV spotting.

SO - what's going on with me. Did I conceive and it's gone already? My cycle has been very regular all my life, although a year ago I did have problems with breakthrough bleed every month round ovlulation. However, the gynae did a vaginal ultrasound and found nothing out of the ordinary. I just feel that this month I've never had things settle at all.

confused

Have you done a pregnancy test?

Could be an eary miscarriage or failure of egg to implant in womb lining.

Klara · 23/05/2005 15:51

Thanks Flum - I didn't do an HPT as it would have been too early at 3 days post "deed".

If it didn't implant would you bleed?

sorry not sure of timings. so you felt sick sore boobs etc before the 'deed'?

Klara · 23/05/2005 16:21

nope - afterwards.

Deed was on day 17 of cycle. About 2 days later started feeling awful - then on Saturday which was day 22 - that's when the bleed came. Am now at day 24....

Oh i dunno then. why don't you go and see your gp, just to put your mind at rest. coudl be break through bleed I suppose. does seem a bit strange. unlikely to be early miscarriage i would say.

So sorry to hear of your confusing few days - it can be so emotionally stressful TTC, a true rollercoaster ride. I guess only time will tell and a further pregnancy test in the near future around usual cycle length to confirm one way or another. Some people bleed a lot when pregnant, others a random bit and some nothing so can?t possibly second guess. I bled a fair bit with both of mine, going down the usual emotional highs and lows, early scans etc. and have two lovely healthy children. Hope the time goes quickly and you have a definite answer really soon. xx
