chest pans

please help im very worried ....i suffer with health anx and have IBS to

but recently iv been getting chest paibs around where your bra sits kind if and middle lower oesophihus (spelling sorry ) just before tummy starts in between boobies ....kind of a dull ache wondered if it was indigestion or something worse ...

i had a bad go last week it lasted 2 days ...i did gulp my food down just before this episode so i did think was indigestion as came on just after that ..

however i can be working and chest aches under wher bra sits under boobies and once iv taken bra off seems alot better but still there a bit ..

any ideas ?

hi i worry ,im getting the same at the moment ,im putting mine down to overbreathing and indigetion ,my therapist says i have hvs -hyperventilation syndrome.
try not to worry so much ,have you got any gaviscon ,i have had to go on omeprazole for acid indigetion,maybe you need to see your gp about it

hi candy thanks for reply , can indigestion be so bad ? and what is hyperventilization syndrome ?

i did get anx today at work and got it a bit then so maybe is stress related ?
unfortunatly my mind works overtime and i googled to so now thinking all sorts ..

hyperventilation sydrome is where i take too much air in by over breathing ,yawning and taking deep breathes ,it makes my chest hurt !! have had a chest x-ray but nothing showed but now i have an answer so at least i know what it is there for worry less!!

indigetion can be very painful

ok thanks comes and goes not all the time ..will maybe mention to doc when i next see her as going with DS after r holiday about something els .

i just didnt know indigestion /heartburn could be so painfull , my SIL has said she to has had pains like that in middle of chest bone lower down so that did make me feel a little better ..

i do suffer with mainly Health anx ... so maybe this is stressing me out and making things worse ..

ok thanks , will take on board everyones advice given , i just get myself in knots at times HA is not nice and not easy to control at times , we have r holiday tomorrow so will be busy packing today and getting organized ,will be good to get away .

chest pains today but i know what it is so not getting too worked up ,its ds's birthday today so taking my lot to the pool ,hmmm not one of my best ideas but have promised them .hope you have a great time on holiday -try to relax
