Anyone know the implications of taking ALOT of nytol 1 a night, constantly

Before anyone asks, its not myself, its someone I look after. have just pieced two and two together and realised shes taking 3 of these a night, your only supposed to take one and not for more than three days running.
she takes lots of other POM's for various medical conditions and Im wondering if theyre contraindicated with anything, or if there are possible dangers of taking them long term?

she refuses to talk to her doctor about it. now Ive realised what shes doing, Im refusing to buy them for her.

Oh gawd - yes I do actually and it depends what meds she's on. But basically if she's over 60 it's not going to be doing her any favours. For a start after six days it stops working and is just excreted in the urine (her sewer rats will be very sleepy). But take your pick of side effects: irregular heartbeat, constipation, water retention, heart attack, breathing difficulties, amnesia (which in the elderly can appear like dementia).

Good for you - hope she doesn't know how to order them online then.

thankfully she has no pc and no mobility so no access to them online.
shes on fluoxetine for definate, shes on drugs for her arthiritis cyclosporin, and NSAISs plus tablets for diabetes...maybe more..?

shes also taking travel sickness tablets-qwells

If I were you I'd have a quiet word with her GP. If she is diabetic she really shouldn't be taking them anyway! Not surprised she's nauseous though.
