NITS - HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot get rid of my own nits.
I have managed to get rid of my kids nits, just, though they recur about once every couple of months, i normally manage to avoid getting them myself but this time the little buggers seem to have got stuck right in. Or on! I have tried:

• full marks
• head first
• nit combing every night after conditioning
• peroxide (yes really)
• blow drying

short of shaving my (beyond shoulder length, thick, curly) hair off, does anyone have any ideas??

NITTY GRITTY comb rather than a standard nit comb.

You may also find it is helpful and more effective to get someone to do it for you.

get someone to comb through for you, they'll be able to see them

Exactly what I was going to suggest - someone else might find it easier to get rid of them all. Or I gather hedrin's supposed to be quite good - no combing required.
