Periods - increased regularity.

I have always been like clock-work with a 26 day cycle, but over the last few months I've had a few periods which have arrived rather early (as in every 21 days).

Anyone know what can cause this?

stress, weight loss or gain, or sometimes our hormones just change as we get older/after we've had kids...
