IUD copper coil and no strings felt ???

Had my copper coil fitted this morning, but am unable to feel any string at all? Should i be worried?

I've never been able to feel mine and the nurse struggled when I went for my six week check. Apparently I have a posterior cervix, which makes string finding near enough impossible.

If you are concerned at all give the GP/nurse a call.

Thanks for your reply, feel a bit better knowing its not just me. Will get it checked out i think just to put my mind at rest at least!!

I'm sure it'll be fine.
