Me again. You know that I've been told I've got MS? Well, he didn't say what to do if I felt unwell. I'm feeling unwell (a little), NHS direct are not picking the phone up.

a little eye ache/blurred vision and some numbness in one leg. I don't know too much but can it wait or do I need to go to A&E for some steriods?

Thanks, Did you have a "cage" as well Jux?

(Just wondering if they ever do the brain without one)

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 13/07/2009 22:36

They never do a brain scan without one, they use it to create the images and it keeps the head still. It does have a name, I can't remember it at the moment though, I should know being a student radiographer

I can't remember having a cage but I'm pretty sure I did - they have to make sure you don't move your head at an important moment!I don't remember feeling restricted or anything though.

Thank you both, and I hope you are both feeling a bit better as well!

My symptoms are extremely mild compared to you - just annoying, so am not expecting them to find anything "nasty". If the scan is clear they will do electrical nerve tests, and if those are OK give me medicine to reduce nerve pain.

Good luck.

Hope all is OK Milliways
