I have been following the Weight Watchers Discovery plan for the past 4 weeks and have put it down to that. However, thought it would have subsided by now and it hasn't, do you think it could be anything more sinister? How long does the whole detox thing usually last?

Well, In late 2007, I had those symptoms... i thought it was diabetes... My GP thought it might be something a little more sinister... It was actually my DS (now 13 months old!!!)

You couldn't be PG could you????

MrsJamesMartin · 22/06/2009 11:44

Don't know about detox but you should get a fasting blood glucose level done to exclude diabetes.

He he!! No, no chance of that I am afraid, dh had the snip about 4 years ago!!!

Another one advising you to get GP to check for diabetes.

get an appointment with your gp and get it checked thirst and weeing are classic signs so it would be the sensible option.

My dd was tested at 4 years old but fotunately it was negative.
