I have had one-sided leg and back pain for years. Docs have confirmed a knackered disc and the physios have said my core muscles are rubbish, and everything pulls to one side. Lying in bed this morning i realised that i've always been able to voluntarily contract muscles down the rh side of my abdomen but never on the left - i have no idea how i'd begin to make them move. Is this normal, or can i learn to work them and even myself up?
