Itchy bumhole

Day one: Slightly itchy bumhole
Day two: 'sharp' poo that temporarily relieved the itch but there was blood on wiping (just a trace)
Days 3-5: same as above
Day 6: Soft poo (very frequent movements; possibly excess alcohol related), no blood on wiping.

I am ovulating so a bit damp down below. I thought this was causing the itch to begin with as I have had it at a similar time of the month before now.

The blood made me think piles.

Then I read the threadworm thread. Have been examining mine and children's poo, no wriggling. DC2 did have little white fibres in but it looked like chicken to me (he had eaten chicken).

What is it?

Could be a rectal fissure. I always have to leave myself vvvv clean otherwise it gets very irritating. Dampness wont help. Try keeping it super clean/dry and see if that makes a diff.
