Blister on the eye

My DD has developed a tiny blister or clear spot actually on her eyeball.
It's not causing any pain though she says it's a bit itchy.
Anyone have any ideas?
Should I just leave it and see if it clears up?

I wouldn't take any chances where the eyes are concerned. It's worth getting it checked out asap. Take her to the GP.

Or opticians - who can refer as neccessary and tend to be better at diagnosing eye stuff!

True - opticians are the best to look at it.

I had a blister on my eye years ago, I went to the a+e eye bit at our hospital they put some drops in and an eye patch on. Gave me a course of pills (sorry I don't remember now what they were) and sent me off. I had to wear the patch for a week, but when I took it off it was all better.
Mine wasn't painful either, was V itchy and irritating when blinking etc though.
