Hooking out Bogies!!!!!!!!?(sorry crude!)

Do any of your babies go crazy when you try to clear their noses???It's such a dread!

You can get a nasal clearer where you suck on one end and it pulls it out the nose! (I think the fancier ones have a squeezy bulb at one end that does the same thing )
Yes ds hates it too (picking not the nasal things! Don't have one!)

theres like a valve thing in the middle (so you aren't sucking up snot )

I have a bulb one from the States, but dd still goes nuts!They are brilliant contraptions, but she doesn't like it, unless she can hold it and play with it, which then leads to chewing it, BUT that obviously isn't a nice idea.

apparently when kids eat their bogies it is good for boosting the immune system (read it in New Scientist I think) so maybe chewing the nasal clearer should be encouraged
