i have had a root canal done and it didn't hurt a bit.
I have also had them offer to do one but I was in so much pain I had the tooth removed.

I am not sure... bump this though in case anyone else has been in the same situation!

Why does he need it doing, horseshoe? I know that sounds like a silly question but surely he's only had the tooth a year or so? Is it just one root, are the others OK?

horseshoe · 10/05/2005 09:03

Yes the others are OK. He had a filling done a little while back and that helped in killing the tooth off over the past couple of years.

The dentist we saw said there was no need for a filling in the first place.
