Sore brests, really sore, two weeks every month. What to do?

Title says it all really. I've always had a bit of a sore-bosom-near-period issue but now I have really painful norks from ovulation to period every month. I can't stand them to be touched (disapointed emoticon), they really hurt when I take my bra off and they feel massive (they're not, they're teeny-weeny) What should I do?
By the way, I'm thirty seven and not on the pill.

Hi LBM Evening Primrose oil capsules definitely help.

yes me, unfortunately. Am ttc as well which makes it more difficult as I always try and persuade myself its because I'm pregnant, but I'm not! My boob start aching about 3 days after I ovulate and then gradually get worse till period arrives. Weirdly its the left boob which throbs like hell, the right one aches only occasionally...

Has this been a recent thing? It started for me after I had my first baby and gradually got worse.

Yes, its a recent thing. Can't really put my finger on when it started, but only with such severity in the last six months or so I reckon.

As far as I know, it's caused by an increase in progesterone in the second half of your cycle. I get it too - it's miserable isn't it.

Acupuncture might help to regulate your hormones a bit.

I've had this as well, even went to the Doctors. He told me to get high strenght (1000 mg or more) Evening Primrose Oil and to take at least 3000 mg. I've been doing this for a few months now and it has made the world of difference. I dont get the pains at all now. Hope this helps.
