exercise bike users...

how often do you use your exercise bike? I've started last week (managed three 30 min sessions!) and this week I've managed one so far...it's really tough. I'm in generally good health, but wondering if I should step it up to 45mins or just leave it at 30mins. My weight seems to be just staying the same (which isn't a bad thing I suppose!).

Would be good to speak to others who enjoy using their exercise bikes...

Had it 3 years, used it about 5 times and quite frankly would rather watch paint dry.

I wouldnt worry about the weight though...muscle weighs more than fat so you may have toned up.

I agree it can be a bit like watching paint dry although with having the minute counter thingy on it, means I can say 'ah, half way now...oh, 10 mins to go now, etc. Which does actually help a bit. I used to have a really old exercise bike (before getting a new one in 2007) and I used to force myself to get on it but the time did really drag.
