think u can get a saline solution which is a sterile water to do it

my mum had a sinus problem for ever it seamed and tried everything and had lots of anti-biotics but nothing worked untill her brother told her to sniff salt water about four times a day for a day or two. She tried it and although she nearly gagged each time it was fantastic and cleared it up for her. Something about the sulpher when the salt reacts with the water. have a go if you can bear it. Just a half a teaspoon of salt to half cup of warm water and snort it up.

warm salty water is brilliant I second tiny's suggestion
