Depo & Bleeding

I had my first Depo jab two weeks ago today and have had spotting every day since. Is this normal? It's been enough to use a pant liner a few times a day and is brownish in cOlour if that's not TMI?

It was for me, I had bleeding every day for a 12 months after starting on Depo.
