KangaDaddy is having his MRI scan tomorrow

DH spoke to GP this morning and said YES we want to go ahead with it

So GP faxed the report off to the MRI scanning dept at WEST MIDDLESEX Hospital at lunchtime

This afternoon they ring up and say tomorrow @ 12.15pm

It is so quick we are rather blown away with the speed.

They are going to look at his lumber region and pelvis.

We get to bring the pictures home and a report is sent to GP.

So pictures will be interesting to have and for DS to see.

Just hope that we then will find out what it is causing all the pain.

It is made more complicated by the fact of one of our cats injuring her leg and needing to go to vets in the morning {she may have to have X -RAY as she may have broken it}

He had it and it took nearly 2 hours as the pelvis one was done twice

We now have loads of pictures of KangaDaddy's insides and have tried to play Doctors and Nurses with them but as yet haven't worked them out fully

The report will go to GP next week and so after he has received it hopefully he will ring us or we will go and see him taking all these pictures

They are very interesting though

It hurt him when they were doing it with the high frequency vibrations in the area where the pain has been.

He had Eric Clapton playing in the headphones while it was happening. {He could choose the music}

I wish it was really obvious what the problem is by looking at the MRI

As far as we can work out there are NO slipped discs. They all look in the right place IYSWIM.

So we will be doing more studying of the pictures between now and when we hear from GP, I am sure.

btw Kangacat has not broken her leg, she has soft tissue damage and a fox bite, she is on painkiller drugs in her food and antibiotics and has to go back again on Tuesday.

So did they tell you anything immediately afterwards or did they just do it and say the report would go to the GP?

KD asked radiographer and she said she wasn't allowed to tell him

So Consultant writes report up on Monday and it gets sent to GP and then we have to wait til Tuesday

Really hope GP will ring us Tuesday night

{GPs day off is Wednesday }

So will have to wait til Thursday
