Toothpaste cancer alert - ??

Sorry if this has already been covered - I've done a search - this article appeared back on 15 April - just wondering if it was a red herring or if anyone knew more about it?

There was a link & I posted bits of info on it. BAsically there are a lot of substances that by themselves / in large quantities are harmful BUT in the quantities or concentrations used in formulations such as toothpaste they will have been passed as OK & safe to use.
I do think it is irresponsible for scare tactics without explaining the full facts.
