Yes! Recently I have been a wreck pre-menstrually and for the first couple of days of period, much worse than usual.

I get it really badly, and it's getting much worse as I get older (am now 34). Last week I had PMT and I was so bad I had to go to the GP and have blood tests done to check my thyroid, iron etc, as I was so tired, woozy and tearful I was a wreck. I suffer badly with hormonal acne as well, so I'm obviously very deeply affected by my hormones around this time of the month. Am now on day 4 of my cycle so it's easing off a bit.

Notquitegrownup · 18/05/2009 14:51

Yup, totally - much worse since having children. It's also getting worse as I get older, although I am now starting to recognise what it is, and so can reassure myself when waking at 3am that the anxiety might fuelled by PMT.

The relief when it clears and everything falls back into perspective is good.

I'm taking Evening Primrose Oil, but not sure it's doing any good. I think Agnus Castus is meant to be good for hormonal problems.
