taking the Pill

I've never actually been on it (and never had any accidents). Last time I asked my GP about it, I was on anti-depressants as well, and she said the two together would be a terrible combo.

I'm off the ADs now, and was thinking of going on the Pill. I am concerned though, with the history of depression (and a long family history of depression) whether or not the Pill would trigger it.

Anyone have experience of this?

Hmmm.... did for me... but everyone is very differenet.

Have you considered the implant? It goes in immediately and more importantly can be taken out immediately. I researched into it and the effect of implant stops as soon as it is taken out.

Also it uses less hormones so doesn;t cause as many side effects. Also you can forget about it!

i think it varies on which type suits you - some pills can make pmt easier for example which can help with mild, related depression - but others may not suit you
