Can verrucas be spread to other parts of the body?

Hello,

If someone uses a towel on a verruca infested foot then someone else uses that towel, can they then get warts on other parts of their body???

Nice subject eh!

Thanks xx

yes, ds had them all over his willy. Took months of agonising acid dropper to get shot of them. Be careful.

It's unlikely to be spread via a towel, more likely by direct contact especially where there is moisture.

Verrucaes are just warts that are on the foot - the pressure of walking makes then grow in instead of out.

Yes. But they only enter through broken skin.

But very dry skin can be fragile enough to pick up a virus, even if not actually broken. DS has deffo not had anyone in direct contact with his willy at 6yo! (Though plenty of direct contact with own fingers though, and heaven knows where they've been)
