DS was admitted to hospital a few weeks back with a heartbeat of 306 beats per minute. He has been diagnosed with Supraventricular Tachycardia. We are waiting for his referral to the heart unit at our hospital, but the doctors have suggested he'll need an op (ablation) to sure him as he's been troubled with the problem for years.
Has anyone else had any experience of this? DH has 3-4 episodes a day and we are both quite scared about the whole issue.
