Exhaustion

I am fed up of feeling exhausted all the time, I have posted about this so many times over the last year.
I have had tests for everything, I have made sure I eat properly, i go to bed at 10pm every night.
There is nothing wrong with me but all I ever feel is tired, I am sat here and all I am thinking is I cant wait for dh to get back and pick dd1 up from school so I can have a sleep.
I do plenty of excercise, walk everywhere and and generally lively, i hit a wall about this time every day where I am finding it hard to function.
I have been on fluoxetine for a year, i am now wondering if this would cause the tiredness. I have tried every vitamin, mineral and everything else I can think of.
Any ideas, or does anyone know if fluoxetine does this?

Tiredness is listed as a side effect of fluoxetine, but it is also an effect of the underlying depression (if this is why you are on it), so it could be either. I really feel or you, I'm on SSRIs too and also perpetually exhausted (and shouldn't be MNing at gone 11!) I am engaged in a battle with my doctor about this, but have recently been so horribly depressed that I don't want to mess with the dose without approval. Have you spoken to the doctor specifically about whether the fluoxetine could be causing it? Be cautious about changing things if you are otherwise well, though.
I hope you find an answer soon. Sorry not to be much help.

I'm exactly the same and have been exhuasted for the last few weeks.
Have had bloods done and told today that they've all come back ok,but I'm going to see our gp on Weds.
I'm not on any medication but completely shattered by lunchtime and normally have to have a nap(if I'm not going out)for a couple of hours,in order to recharge.

I have talked about it possibly being the tablets before, the doctor seemed to think that it was just my life and the depression, thing ias I dont hink I am depressed anymore but I am scared to come off them.
I do the same thing Bibbaloo, nap pretty much every tiem I get chance and it is usually for hours.
dd1 is very similar and she is gluten intolerant, or coeliacs or something along those lines and changed dramatically when we took her off gluten, I have done the blood test for coeliacs and it was negative and I am definatly not underewight so I dont think it could be that.

Hi there- I really feel for you. I am constantly exhausted at the moment. I do eat a lot of cake as I'm breastfeeding and I'm sure that's not helping.
