Breast lump - not convinced

Hi
I'm looking for some advice here. Briefly - I discovered a very hard breast lump, was referred to the breast clinic, had an ultrasound on it and the sonographer said it was normal breast tissue. I'm breastfeeding and he said it was 'milk ducts' - no other explaination. I wasn't convinced - how can blocked milk ducts feel so hard, and stay uninfected and pain free for weeks? I checked in with a GP (not my usual GP) and I was told to trust the sonographer's verdict, but when I asked was just told 'yes blocked ducts can feel like that'. I don't know what I'm looking for, but I suppose I just need some further reassurance or explaination. I'm still worried about this lump which I just can't understand how it could be blocked ducts?
Thanks all

Hi Susiecat - I had several lumps when breastfeeding and was told to massage them in order for them to go away. I would trust the sonographer if I were you as they know what they are looking for. But If your instinct tells you differently, you can always ask for a second opinion. Hope that helps.
