Is there a cold/flu bug going around (other than swine flu)?

I have had a head ache and runny nose for a few days but i thought it was hayfever, today i have woken up feeling really fluey, bunged up nose, soar throat and a slight cough. Please tell me its just a cold and i will be fine in a couple days .

yep hundreds of different strains of colds and flus going around, dont worry you WILL be fine

Yep loads of people at my work have a cold / flu type bug at the moment.

Yes I've had it over the weekend, my Dad has got it too. And DD who has a condition that affects her ability to cope with illness had it and was ok. So yes you will be fine! Rubbish though isn't it? I felt really rough the first day or so. Lemsips!

I started with this last Sunday and have been in bed ALL week. Absolutely knocked me off my feet. (32 wks preg tho) I keep telling myself I am the worlds biggest wuss and that it's just a cold. The Swine Flu leaflet I got through the letterbox on Monday did not make me feel much better LOL.

I am praying I feel better after the weekend. It's amazing but you almost forget who you are when you're ill.
