post-childbirth weeing

Is this normal?

Before I go to bed I do a wee. I get into bed. I get out of bed, because I need to wee again. I do another wee. I get into bed. I get out of bed, because I need to wee again. I do another wee. This happens about five times.

And it's not psychosomatic as each time the wee does actually, er, come.

This didn't use to happen before I had my two DC. I am puzzled.

Any advice out there?

Perfectly normal I would think as it is just all the weight coming away in the form of wee..think of it as a great thing..gettin gback to your normal weight pre pregnancy.

however, could also be a urine infection, if you don't seem able to empty your bladder properly. i would get it checked out if you're worried.

Weight loss weeing! This fills me with great joy!

Although, I think I will get it checked out all the same, just to be on the safe side.

Thank you both!

I know AC27, thought that would delight you..but when you think of it really where does the extra weight from pregnancy go to?..it has to come out somewhere....makes sense I think. Also a midwife once told me somehting similiar and it always stuck. Let us know how you get on at the docs, would be interested in what he thinks.
