i am 37 wks pregnant and have been on anti-biotics four times in last five months. two of those times were quite high dosages. i have been assured that all ok for baby, so am just hoping to get through next few weeks without taking anymore anti-bs. prob now is that i feel like i am open to catching anything and everything. is there anything i can do to improve my immune system? when will my body's immune system be back to the way it was before i was preg and taking all these anti-bs?

sorry everybody missed this, swotty

probiotic yoghurts? Good for the flora in the stomach after antibios and also for immunity, I think.

Vitamin c?

This will bump too

... and congrats on your bump

Best way to improve your immune system is to eat a healthy diet with wholegrains and lots of veg and a bit of fruit. Stick to fish and lean meats and not too much dairy. Oh and try and get a bit of exercise (daily walk should do it).
