bit worried about DS

The last few days he has had a very waxy ear... but I figured it was better out than in!
This morning he woke up with lots of dried gunky wax all round the outside of his ear, and it doesn't smell very nice.
He has been sooooooo sleepy today, despite sleeping through the night!!!! And has been a it grizzly.

Worth taking him to the doctor? Or should I just give him some calpol?
He is 12 weeks

Has he got a temperature?

Sounds like his eardrum has burst due to build up of gunk in the inner part. If he has, the worst is over, but he was probably in a lot of pain.
Poor babe!

he doesn't have a temperature. And the ear does look less waxy now.
He just is a bit grumbly and sleepy.
