Last Thursday I woke up with what I can only describe as green yuck in my nose. I'd had no cold, no streaming nose or sneezes, it jsut seemed to appear from nowhere. I started taking Sudafed,a dn was doing inhaltions, but my nose was constantly running and it was just thick green stuff. (Sorry).
I still have it, not as thick, but, when I feel it building up in my nose and blow it, I get this vile aftertaste in my mouth, and now I can taste it when I'm swallowing yet there doesn't seem to be much cattarh in ym throat it all seems in my nose.
What's making the horrible taste and how can i get rid of it?

sounds like an infection. i had this for months and had to have an op! (sure yours isn't that bad). neti pot was great at clearing all gunk out also.

Sinusitis. You need to go an get it treated. It can be dangerous if left, because of the proximity of the sinuses to the brain.

The taste is the toxins mae by the bacteria that is trickling down the back of your nose an onto the "bitter" taste receptors on the back of your tongue. It only takes a very tiny trickle to cause the taste.
