Need a cardiologist

My fil needs a cardiologist, and his local hospital is having difficulty in scheduling an ecg and follow-on appointment. He's in Blackpool. At present he's (eventually) going to be seeing Dr David Roberts at the Victoria in Blackpool.

Has anyone heard good things about him? Or can anyone recommend someone really good in London (where we are).

Sorry for the quick post; got to run, but will be back later, and keen to hear anyone's views.

Thanks in advance...

Can recommend a Dr Richard Schilling in London if you are willing to pay privately (although he may do NHS work as well). If you goggle him you can get full CV. Nice chap, used to work with him and would trust him with my dad!!

Thanks! Yes, we're thinking we may have to pay to go privately to get him the treatment he needs as quickly as he needs it. I'll look your chap up in a mo.

St Mary's cardiology dept is second to none - I would contact the secretaries to talk to them about the specialities that each consultant has.
