I had my third child in July 2007..
My boob/niple was sore the other day, I rubbed my boob and dont know why but squeexed my nipple and I got some milk from it , but more like colostrum as tinged yellow..
Could this be a blocked duct unblocking!!

The last time expressed from ds was aug 07..!!
Is this normal..

It's not unknown.

I have a friend who stopped pumping/nuring at about 5 months, she could still hand express a squirt when her DD was 2, so it's certainly not unheard of. Your boobs expect to lactate for a good couple of years or so after you've given birth, so when you look at it that way it's not so surprising really.

Maybe go to your GP and ask for a blood test to check hormone levels. In particular, ask to have your prolactin level checked.
