hey just wonderd if anybody as got a face mask or thinking of getting one as our local tescos staff have been wearing them??

I was going to get some lovely fabric from Cath Kidston and make my own.

only if they are doing them in pistachio with a raspberry trim

Apparently they're next-to-useless, unless you're actually the one with the lurgy, and then they might help stop it spreading, but you'd have to change it all the time, and also dispose of the old ones safely.

no im in halifax west yorkshire and our local paper www.halifaxcourier.co.uk says the pharmacy staff in king cross tescos were serving wearing the masks yesterday

Tescos gets on my pigging nerves.

well pharmacies are going to be somewhere people with symptoms go, so it makes sense to protect the staff.

I work in a clean room area, and our local supplier (from which we order loads of masks every week)has run out of masks.
good news for our production line!
