Quickest way to get rid of a wart that doesn't involve spending a tenner on wart removal?

I bit one off once. It looked like a tiny white broccoli floret.

I bought some tea tree essential oil today to see if that will work on mine.

But if it doesn't I have lots of other suggestions here, so thanks for starting the thread!

they used to have a wart book at the chemist and they wrote down your name in it and the wart would allegedly go
or, you could get someone to 'buy' it from you
the old folk cures are classic aren't they?

My mum used to say wee was the best cure. She had loads on her hands and they went went my sister was born. She always said it was because she was washing her nappies by hand!
