intermittent stabbing pains and heavy feeling which is worse when im walking
i do get anxiety but dont think this is it

i kniow that the gp will say to go away as he will say it is anxiety but im scared its something else

good idea.

i advise and refer chest pains and with your age and lack of additional symptoms i doubt it's cardiac but you want to be careful.

you need to be clinically assessed. let us know how you get on.

FrankMustard · 01/05/2009 17:16

didn't mean to post and run - good luck candyfluff, I'm glad you're seeing your gp.
Better to get checked out.

candyfluff · 01/05/2009 17:21

well i was checked and the gp couldnt find anything wrong with me
once again are putting it down to anxiety as i knew they would
so if i drop down dead then you can all remind them 'it was only anxiety'
he said to just take parafucking shite amol and rest all weekend

how frustrating. Keep an eye on it and try to relax.....if it continues to concern you, you can always go to see another gp for a 2nd opinion.
However, I'd be relieved that they can't find owt wrong - crack open a bottle of wine this eve maybe and relax on the sofa?!

candyfluff · 01/05/2009 17:27

id love to rel;ax but laying back makes me feel like im gonna choke
so fed up
cant drink because of medicine im on

anxiety can give you all those symptoms... try to pay attention to your breathing. try to slow it down and don't over breathe.

candyfluff · 03/05/2009 18:20

im really having a hard time believeing its just anxiety ,there is such pain in my chest all the time and my throat feels restricted
feeling really rough and see no point going to gp they dont think its real.
i do have some diazepam tyo take but why should i have to dope myself up on them .
