I've been trying to identify this figure and I can't.

I'm not scaremongering. I expect it to be a reassurance that what's predicted is not so very different from any other year.

One of my first thoughts when I found out that Mexico was allegedly the epicentre of this outbreak was actually whether to try to book a bargain basement luxury holiday in Cancun (sp?) for next year....
