I've been having this problem for a very long time now. I've recently started a new relationship and I'm worried this may be a problem for me...

I have no idea what is causing this, but it seem to happen if I haven't eaten for a few hours

Is there any remedy you can suggest? I've tried charcol tablet and rennie's but no joy

Please Help, I need to sort this out.

Thanks

Name changed as too embarrassed

make sure you have a healthy diet
go to the loo when you need to parp
we have a bloke at work who everytime he passes there is a distinct whiff
we all feel like teling him to go outside or to the loo everytime he needs to drop one

Try probiotic yoghurt, I found it worked wonders.
There are some things that can make it worse such as eating too fast ( you swallow air I think) and certain foods such as broccoli.

oh, I do leave the office when I feel it coming lol

I have tried some probiotic yoghurt and do eat a reasonably healthy diet

I may pay the doctor a visit

too much yeast in the gut? (candida infection)
dont eat any sugar at all for a couple of days, and see if it dies down

it can cause other health problems if it is that. It is rare, and your dr may say that only terminal aids victims get it, but this is not true, rarely, anyone can get it. there've been a few threads on mumnset.

hmmm, I'll try that...

Aloe vera? Def go to gp and check your diet, you must be reacting with something. Feel awful for you though - it is so embarrassing.

mint tea? drink before you eat, aids digestion

I was thinking about the sugar thing, and I must say I tend to have flu like symptoms (and in some cases it develops into a cold) after eating a lot of chocolate or sugary treats - well, not really a lot, like for instance, I had about 5 mini chocolate eggs this morning and I've been feeling ill with sore throat etc
I'll mention all this to the doc, now got myself an appt.
