SPD pain- how long does it usually last after childbirth?

Gave birth to dd2 12 days ago and still in a lot of pain from SPD which I had pretty much throughout this pg. With dd1 it went as soon as I had delivered.
Feel quite depressed about how bad it still is at this stage. Does anyone have any experience of this? Or any suggestions how I can help things get better?

I had to go to an oestopath to cure mine.

try taking LOADS, ie several times a day, of arnica 30's.
i have no supporting evidence for the theory, except to say that it practically 'cured' my SPD before i even gave birth. i went from unable to cross the room to able to function as a mum of 2 toddlers within a few weeks.
worth a try imo.

Mine lasted 3 weeks until I saw an osteopath and then it went.

Hardly any walking about, hardly any carrying, NO pushing shopping trollies, bum shuffle down the stairs, baby on your knee, don't get down onto the floor, the action of getting up one knee after the other used to wrench my pelvis. Set up a changing station on a waist high place, I used one end of our dining table.
