Cerrazette and heavy bleeding

Has anyone else experienced very heavy bleeding on Cerrazette?

I've been taking it for about 3 weeks and started bleeding a week ago.

The bleeding has been like day 2 or 3 of a very, very period for the whole week. I've basically been soaking through super plus tampons and a towel every hour.

Apart from feeling completely drained, its bloody inconvenient as loo access has to be a factor in every trip out that I make.

If you've experienced this, does the bleeding stop eventually? I only started taking the bloody thing because it was supposed to STOP periods altogether!

I did. I just searched an answer I gave a few months ago to someone who asked about Cerazette:

I had a loooooooong (and very heavy) bleed when I started Cerazette; over a month, I think it lasted. I went to the Dr who said basically "deal with it...it could last quite a while or it could stop tomorrow". I came off the pill for a day or two (by accident!) and the bleeding stopped; it didn't start again once I started taking my pills again. And it's been a few months now of no bleeding.

...and the update is that I'm still not bleeding. I must say, the Dr wasn't very helpful. I can sympathise - it was awful, and in my case lasted for quite a few weeks. If I was you, I'd try stopping it, then starting again - as I said, I don't know if that was what stopped my bleeding, but it was a bit coincidental if not!

Good luck
