NO!!

Flightattendant25 · 24/04/2009 19:52

It thins the blood i think so poss a clotting issue in socket. I would leave as long as poss, you want that clot to stay put or you could end up with dry socket which is nasty.

Flightattendant25 · 24/04/2009 19:52

why so Goober, I am only guessing?

Goober · 24/04/2009 19:53

No booze. No fags. No drinks thru straws.
Have an ice cream!

Goober · 24/04/2009 19:53

Alcohol thins blood.

Flightattendant25 · 24/04/2009 19:55

Ah. Thanks. Why no straws? Ah yes the sucking action can dislodge clot also.

random · 24/04/2009 19:56

I would

Goober · 24/04/2009 19:57

The reason I am so bossy is cos I had dry socket last summer. For 10 days. Agony!

southeastastra · 24/04/2009 19:58

lol random, no fags no booze poor me

what caused your dry socket goober?

OP posts:
Goober · 24/04/2009 20:01

Nobody advised me what to do/not to do after extraction.
It bled for ages I kept rinsing.
Ate normal food the same day.

Goober · 24/04/2009 20:02

Ice cream.

southeastastra · 24/04/2009 20:14

Goober · 24/04/2009 20:16

Put your ice cream through the blender?

southeastastra · 24/04/2009 20:25

managed to find some strawberry ice cream and about 25 zoom lollies (!)

amazing how you crave things when you can't have them.

Goober · 24/04/2009 20:27

Its shit for you, but will be for the best in longrun.
If it helps; I am off the sherbert too.

southeastastra · 24/04/2009 20:29

i really don't want dry socket, it already has a tiny bit of food in it that i'm paranoid about.

why are you off the booze? (although i'm not a lush unless it's friday)
