What do you do when your younger child(ren ) has chicken pox and you have to do the school run?

Would it be ok to just hold their hand so they can't run off and mingle with other people?

DS was only 6 months when he had it so he just sat in his buggy.

Did you put the raincover over him or anything?

either put them in a pushchair with raincover over, or leave them in the car and run older child into the office.

that said, if one has it the likelyhood of the older one being contagious is high so is it wise for them to go to school anyway??

I was told that he shouldn't have a conversation with anyone or be in the same room for 15 mins or longer (something like that) so I just droppd off quickly and tried not to hang around.

But, I live very near school so if I cant take them, whichever one is going to school just waits in the front garden until someone we know walks past
