I am not sure what to do, he just cant give up - dont get me wrong, i understand addiction (after having a few vises myself) but i am trying hard to be supportive but feel that he keeps letting himself down.
its not easy to be around someone who smokes, sexually and just socially! Not to mention the fact that we are trying to have a baby, so i need to know if it will affect the health of his sperm (he said it wont) but i dont know for sure!!
Help!

Have found some links for you: looks like smoking by the father does reduce fertility, plus if a pregnant woman is passive smoking his smoke then so is the unborn baby.

You might find this useful: NHS advice on fathers and smoking and another one from the NHS.

Hope this helps. Good luck with convincing him to quit!

What has he tried ? Patches ? Allen Carr book ? Inhalators ? Champix ?

There are lots of things to help but he has to want to do it. My mum has just given up after smoking 30 per day for 40+ years. I am so proud of her

Just ask him if he wants to be a smoker when a baby is here? It will be so much more difficult to stop with a newborn and all the associated "stress" than it will to stop now

he has to be ready, i stopped a few weeks ago with patches and inhaler, was odd though wasn't planning it just sort of happened.

patches are very good for taking away the crazy craving.
