I've got the Vitamin C and Zinc Lozenges, the Echinacea and Goldenseal tea, the honey, the blackberry jam, the lemon, the ginger, the cayenne pepper, the cinnamon and the ribena.

Oh and I've got orange, pineapple, grapes, banana, pink grapefruit, cantaloupe, pears and apple cider vinegar to make a smoothie.

My nan swears by chicken soup with garlic, basil, thyme, oregano and rosemary but I really can't be arsed making soup when I'm ill!!

Must find out DS' vapouriser. Last time he was poorly I made a fab mixture of olbas oil, lavender, tea tree, peppermint, spearmint and eucalpytus oil. I have just used it in the bath and it was fabulous.

Anything else you can think of which will help me get rid asap?

Apparently you shouldn't have anything sugary including juice as it reduces the immune function but I've always used honey so think I will ignore that.

Sounds like you've just about covered everything! You can have all the remedies under the sun, but they still have to take their course unfortunately. (As the doctor keeps telling me every time I take dd to doctors with a bad cold)!
