Have you tried going back to your gp for more tests? They can do blood tests to check your hormone levels and do a general work up on you.

I'm not an expert, but there are some people who take supplements such as EPO or Agnus Castus to lenthen their cycles and regulate them a bit more. Have you tried googling that sort of thing?

Are you under the care of a gynae - if not I would seek a referral to a gynae.

Pelvic ultrasound scans will not detect endometriosis if it is present. Endo is usually only diagnosed through a keyhole surgery op called a laparoscopy.

You should be evaluated further to see if either this or fibroids are the underlying causes of the symptoms you have.

I believe it is possible to get endometriosis in later life. You don't have to be born with it. I do believe that it can sometimes be caused by uterine tissue being shed during a period can sometimes work up the fallopian tubes and the tissue can attach itself and cause endometriosis. I don't have it myself, but a friend has stage 4 endo.

oh thanks for reply , is she ok ?

She's fine health wise, she knew she had it but didn't know how severely until she had surgery. She's struggling to get pg though, three IVF cycles have failed and she's been told that surrogacy may be her only answer as she has a badly scarred uterus.
