Mastitis or just a blocked duct?

Hello,

I have a painful boob since yesterday pm. Have had probs with blocked ducts and mastitis in it before, but not for a while - however ds has been teething again so feeding/ gripping on all night and I think he created a bit of oversupply.

Anyway - yesterday eve, felt terrible, very shaky and 'chills', went to bed with 2 nurofen and felt better by this morning - I was feeding him from the bad side all night and did some massage too.

Today it's been painful to touch but not so bad as last night - took two more nurofen this am.

Starting to feel a bit shivery again now - I can't tell if it is this, or the weather (very damp and raining) as I don't appear to have a temperature.

Can you have shivers without a temp and it still be mastitis, ie infection rather than non-infective iyswim.

Thanks. (want to avoid a/b's if poss!)
