Lump and pain in groin. Could it be scar adhersion following c section?

I have had pain in my groin for a while. I thought it was an ingrowing hair at first as it was sore but I kept looking and nothing appeared(I had a really bad abcess from this many years ago)

I had my second section 16 mths ago and the scar is still quite raised and dark pink. The pain is coming from around this scar on the left side and when I pressed on the skin in the shower I can feel a very hard large lump behind it stretching across onto the top of my left leg. I have made an appointment to see gp tomorrow
but have been googling (I know its the wost thing you can do) and it sound like it could be scar tissue. Thing is I also have very bad back ache and lots of bowel probs(loose and constipated and many upset stomachs)and wonder if its related.

Anyone had any experience and if it is this what can be done.It feels like there is an elastic band on the inside and its constantly sore

hernia of some sort? i presume you will be seeing your GP tomorrow

seeing gp tomorrow afternoon (first available appointment)bit worried about lumps of any kind as mum died of cancer which started in her forties..

i thought hernia but i am not sure after reading about scar adhesions.

good luck , bound to be anxious, but i would think there is a less than sisnister explantaion

he said he could feel a lump and it was mobile so he doesnt think its anything sinister but sending me for a scan just to be sure (i mentioned my mum so i think he was playing it safe)

he said its more than likely an infected cyst so im on 125mg of anti biotics

but since hes been prodding it KILLING now

throbbing away feeling very sorry for myself

Right been on anti biotics now since Friday and this lump is really bothering me.Its sore and very big and rock hard

The doc said the scan would be in about 3 weeks.Is that normal?

Could it be a boil instead?

Its right inside Purpleone not under the surface. If its not gone by the end of the week I am going back to docs and asking for an urgent scan

I have a vascular nodule in my groin.The scan was awful and she scanned by chest and ribs too so obviously looking for something

She said it was only in one area and the doctor would contact me

Anyone had any knowledge of this?
